The champagne flowed at the 2007 Symphony Ball as the Atlanta Symphony Orchestra transported patrons to "La Vie en Rose"—a time when Edith Piaf dominated the cabarets and Paris emerged as the City of Lights. Chair Victoria Palefsky and ASO President and Executive Director Allison Vulgamore welcomed posh patrons including Dr. Alex and Joanne Gross, Darrell and Ena Mays and Richard and Jeannie DuBose.  

A valued ASO supporter, Delta Air Lines returned as the leading Phoenix sponsor of the Symphony Ball, benefiting the ASO’s Learning Community education and community programs.

Selected in 2000 to continue the tradition of excellence set by Robert Shaw, ASO Director of Choruses Norman Mackenzie was honored for his brilliant leadership and creative vision, which have led the ASO Chorus and soloists to garner five Grammy Awards©.
