An awareness and fundraiser for Dian Fossey Gorilla Fund International was held at the Pink Palace at 541 West Paces Ferry Road on Friday January 28th.
Guests enjoyed a performance by the Giwayen Mata drum troupe while learning about the Atlanta-based non-profit, committed to researching and protecting the world’s mountain gorillas from Chair Joanne Truffleman, event producer Judy Hanenkrat and fund president and CEO Clare Richardson.
Committee members included Tony Brewer, Tony Conway, Mary and Rick Horder, Dennis Kelly, Linda and Dennis Meir, Mary Ann and Dallas Rohrer and Rosina Seydel.
